The Order View page is designed to present a comprehensive overview of individual orders. It enables Admins and Employees to inspect the detailed composition of orders, including item specifics and financial data, which is crucial for precise order management and revenue tracking. This page serves as a one-stop snapshot for all order-related details, providing a clear audit trail from sale to fulfillment.
Item Summary
The Item Summary provides a concise breakdown of all Items included in a specific order, along with crucial details like ownership, sold price, and profit. It’s designed to give a quick financial snapshot, which is invaluable for sales tracking and performance analysis.
- Order Details: View the order number, fulfillment status, and transaction date for complete order tracking. The order number is also a hyperlink to the Shopify order page.
- Product Information: Each Item is listed with its name, condition, size, SKU, and ownership status, allowing for easy identification and inventory management. The item title is a hyperlink to Item View.
- Financial Overview: The total sale amount and individual item profits are displayed, offering immediate insight into the financial outcome of the order. The profit amount is automatically calculated based on the ownership type.
Order Summary
The Order Summary offers a detailed financial outline of a completed transaction, itemizing costs and revenues for clarity and accountability.
- Transaction Breakdown: The summary includes the subtotal for items, delivery charges, and taxes, providing clear visibility into what the customer has paid.
- Source Tracking: Identifies the sale source, such as Web, POS, or other channels, to help you understand where sales are happening.
- Profit Calculation: Displays the total profit for the order, enabling you to assess the profitability of each sale at a glance.
